Anne Celeste Heche is an American actor who was known for playing a wide range of roles in film, television, and theatre. Her work was recognized with numerous awards including the Daytime Emmy Award for her acting in theater and television. Anne Celeste Heche, born May 25, 1969 at New York City, and passed away on August 11th, 2022 in Los Angeles, was an American actress. Her debut role was that of twins Vicky Hudson & Marley Love in the soap drama Another World from 1987-1991. The actress won a Daytime Emmy Award & two Soap Opera Digest Awards. Anne Lockhart was born Anne Kathleen Maloney on September 6, 1953. She is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Lieutenant Sheba in the television show Battlestar Galactica ( 1978-1979). She is the granddaughter and daughter of actors Gene Lockhart. Lockhart started her acting career at very young age. Her first role came to her at the age of four when she appeared in T is for Tumbleweed. The film, which was a short one subject, was selected for the academy award. Her mother took her to the film studio, where she was taught about what the industry of film was like. Lockhart played in numerous episodes of Lassie. Dora in Jory in 72 was her first movie. She was 18 when she portrayed one of the daughters Joan Crawford in 1972 television series The Sixth Sense. Joan Crawford's last role as an actor. Anne did not want the role of Laurie Strode in John Carpenter's Halloween the year 1978. Jaime Lee Curtis later was the actor. Carpenter claims that Anne turned down his offer to be Laurie Strode. Anne isn't aware of getting invited from John Carpenter or being offered the position. Her agent could have rejected the role on her behalf and not even known. The initial decision was for the part by Glen Larson who sent her a very preliminary script for an appearance in the 1978 TV series Battlestar Galactica. The character wasn't strong enough to warrant her acceptance of the part. In the future, Glen made a different part exclusively for her featuring the character that was stronger, Sheba. After she read the initial 25 pages of the story The Living Legend she accepted immediately. The show ran for one season. The actress starred alongside Desi Arnaz Jr. (son of Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball) Melanie Griffith and Robert Carradine in the film Joyride (1977) and co-starred with Michael Moriarty in the horror movie The Dark Tower (1987).
